Tiffany Knearem

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHER

Hello! I'm a PhD Candidate in my fourth year at Penn State, where I'm a member of the College of Information Sciences and Technology's Collaboration and Innovation Lab. I'm working under the supervision of Dr. John M. Carroll. My general interests include health and well-being, supporting everyday creativity and innovation, and community informatics.  The goal of my research is to develop technologies that support people to engage in positive, healthy activities within their communities. I value an inclusive, sustainable,  human-centered approach to design. I am teaching a section of IST 402, "Community Informatics", at Penn State during the Spring 2021 semester.
